Classical and modern music theory can illuminate an instrument or voice, and ear training can bring clarity to your learning and creating.

Lessons include original methods for understanding chord relationships, harmonic and melodic conventions, approaches to improvisation, and characteristics of diverse styles.

I have much experience with open tunings, especially all 5ths and cross-tuning with 4ths and 5ths. There are unique advantages to each tuning, especially in lead playing.

I also have a love for fretless guitar, acoustic and electric, and can give you a chance to try this out for yourself.
